Paul’s Missionary Heart

Passage: Romans 16:1–16:16

You will notice a key theme here: 

The warmth of the apostle’s personal relationships as well as the fellowship of the early Christians.

As we read though that list two things become apparent: the first is Paul’s heart which overflowed with personal love for others. Paul had a love for people that caused him to deeply care for them and remember their names.  

Second, 

What can we learn from Paul’s greeting to them? We learn that the apostles were aided and enabled to spread the gospel through the faithful participation and sacrifice of regular Christians like you.
